Public Parking Advisory – 2015 Indy GP of Louisiana

FAN ADVISORY

Parking at Segnette Field is full for the Indy Grand Prix of Louisiana today at NOLA Motorsports Park. Fans are asked to park at the Avondale Shipyard or the Lapalco Neutral Ground.

Spectator gates open at 7:45 a.m. at NOLA Motorsports Park. We hope you enjoy an exciting, fantastic race day!

Public parking for the inaugural Indy Grand Prix of Louisiana, held at NOLA Motorsports Park in Avondale, LA, will be off-site at the LaPalco Boulevard Neutral Ground, Segnette Field, and the Avondale Shipyard (Saturday and Sunday only).

Parking will cost $20 per car per day (CASH ONLY) and includes free bus shuttle transportation to and from NOLA Motorsports Park with service from 7:30am until 8:00pm. Separate shuttles will be running from Harrah’s Casino to and from the track for $5 round-trip (CASH ONLY) with service from 7:00am until 7:00pm. Taxi drop-off and ADA parking will be at Segnette Field, where an ADA Accessible shuttle will be available.

There is NO Public Parking available on-site at NOLA Motorsports Park for event weekend.

Access to the event site is restricted to credentialed vehicles only at all times. Access to Nicolle Boulevard will be limited to credentialed vehicles only, during certain times during the event weekend. Certain items are prohibited inside the event. Don’t miss the Indy Race Day at Champions Square for your chance to take a ride in an Indy car and view all of your favorite classic sports cars and late model GT cars! Admission into the event is free. Indy car rides are $20 and 100 percent of proceeds benefit the Southeast Louisiana Council, Boy Scouts of America. Riders under the age 16 will not be allowed to ride in the Indy Car.

Patrons under the age of 16 will be allowed to ride in the Nissan GTR or Ferrari (free); anyone over the age of 16 will be charged $10 (all proceeds to benefit the Boy Scouts)

DHL enhances racing atmosphere at NOLA Motorsports Park

NEW ORLEANS (March 12, 2015) – Nola Motor Host Committee today announced an agreement with DHL, the world’s leading express delivery and logistics company, that names DHL as the “Official Express and Logistics Provider” for the 2015 Indy Grand Prix of Louisiana.

Inaugural event secures three additional series for the 2015 race weekend

First Open-Wheel Test Scheduled at NOLA Motorsports Park

Pro Mazda Championship and USF2000 will be the first cars on the updated circuit

NEW ORLEANS (Dec. 1, 2014) – The first Open Test for Team Pelfrey and Andretti Autosport is scheduled for December 8-9, 2015, at NOLA Motorsports Park in Avondale, LA. It will be the initial opportunity for teams to sample the newly constructed circuit before the Verizon IndyCar Series takes to the 2.67-mile track April 10-12, 2015.

The test will be open to the public at no cost and fans will have the opportunity to watch the up-and-coming stars of the Mazda Road Indy program as they take to the newly renovated NOLA Motorsports Park for the first time. Andretti Autosport will field one Pro Mazda entry, while Team Pelfrey will run two USF2000 cars and a second pair of Pro Mazda entries.

“Everyone at Team Pelfrey is excited at the prospect of testing on the newly configured track at NOLA in preparation for the five Mazda Road to Indy races at the track in 2015,” said Nigel Tuckey, Team Principal of Team Pelfrey. “Besides the attendance of our Pro Mazda team, the test will also mark the first public appearance of our new for 2015 USF2000 team along with some very promising young drivers. The Mazda Road to Indy program is one of the most successful driver development programs in the world, providing a unique, scholarship-funded path to reach the Verizon IndyCar Series. Leading health care service provider signs on for the inaugural event

NEW ORLEANS (Nov. 10, 2014) – The Indy Grand Prix of Louisiana announces a three-year deal with Ochsner Health System to serve as the Official Health Care Partner for the international race event at NOLA Motorsports Park. In addition, The Racing For Kids Foundation will also act as the inaugural event’s Official Charity.

With over 15,000 employees, Ochsner Health System is southeast Louisiana’s largest non-profit, academic, multi-specialty, healthcare delivery system.
